Online PTE classes
Prepare for PTE from wherever you are
Our PTE classes are held online, so you can prepare from home or work without travelling to a centre. PTE is a computer-based test, so preparing for the way questions appear on screen is part of getting ready.
PTE results are used for study, work and migration in several countries. The organisation or authority you are applying to decides which PTE test it accepts and the score it requires.
Who our PTE coaching is for
- Applicants planning Canada PR who need PTE Core
- Applicants for Australian or New Zealand work and migration visas
- Students applying to universities and colleges abroad
- Anyone who needs to improve an earlier PTE score
Choose your test
PTE Academic or PTE Core: which do you need?
- PTE Academic
- Pearson describes PTE Academic as an academic English test for study, migration or work abroad. It is accepted for study by more than 4,000 universities and colleges, and approved by Australia and New Zealand for work and migration visas. It is also used for professional registration.
- PTE Core
- PTE Core is a general English test. It is recognised by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Canadian permanent residence and citizenship applications.
- PTE Academic UKVI
- For certain UK visas, Pearson offers PTE Academic UKVI, which is booked as a separate test. Check the UK visa requirements before you book. Not sure which one? Check what your university or visa programme asks for before you book. If you are applying for a visa with KINBRIDGE, we confirm the test and score your pathway requires.
Test format
PTE test format at a glance
PTE Academic is taken in three parts: Speaking and Writing together, then Reading, then Listening. Check the official PTE website for current test details and prices before you book.
What we cover
What our PTE coaching covers
- Speaking and Writing These two skills are assessed together in the first part of PTE Academic. You prepare for the task types and for responding clearly within the time on screen. Preparation includes Summarize Group Discussion and Respond to a Situation, introduced for PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI tests taken after 7 August 2025.
- Reading Reading question types, plus managing your time across the section.
- Listening The recordings and question formats in the Listening section.
PTE Core coaching
PTE Core tests everyday English for work and migration, so its tasks reflect practical communication rather than academic material. Our PTE Core coaching follows the Core format: Speaking and Writing together, then Reading, then Listening. You practise the Core task types, not the Academic ones, so your preparation matches the test you will sit.
How the coaching works
- Task feedback: Your practice responses are reviewed and returned with feedback.
- Practice tests: Practice tests build familiarity with the on-screen format.
- Progress reviews: Regular reviews show where your scores are improving and where to focus next.
Practice scores are our own estimates, not official Pearson scores.

PTE and your visa
PTE for your migration plans
Canada's economic immigration programmes use English test results converted to Canadian Language Benchmark levels, and PTE Core is one of the accepted tests. Australia's skilled visas award more points for higher English results.
Because KINBRIDGE guides visa applications as well as PTE preparation, we can tell you the result your pathway needs before you start preparing. See our Canada PR and Australia PR pages for how English results fit into each pathway.
